Alejandro Tosti: Consistency, Character, and Growth
For Argentina’s Alejandro Tosti, Q-School was far more than a good week of golf—it was confirmation that he belongs among the game’s elite. With his T2 finish at the Final Stage, the 29-year-old retained his PGA TOUR membership and improved his status for the 2026 season, accomplishing this feat for the second consecutive year through one of the most demanding pathways in professional golf.
Tosti earned direct entry into the Final Stage thanks to his 137th position in the 2025 FedExCup Fall, and once there, delivered a performance marked by solidity, timely aggression, and exceptional mental strength under pressure.
This was not his first hard-earned breakthrough. Tosti initially secured his PGA TOUR card following a stellar 2023 Korn Ferry Tour season, finishing third on the points list after winning the Pinnacle Bank Championship, a result that firmly placed him on the international golf radar.
Before that, he made his mark on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, where he was a two-time winner. His most memorable victory came at the 2022 Abierto del Centro Memorial Eduardo “Gato” Romero, a result that propelled him to fifth place in the Order of Merit and marked a turning point in his career.
A product of the University of Florida, where he competed from 2014 to 2018, Tosti won four collegiate titles, including the 2017 SEC Championship. Turning professional in 2018, the Rosario native has built a career defined by talent, competitive intensity, and continuous growth.
Today, with greater maturity and experience, Tosti appears to have found the balance needed to compete at the highest level week after week.
Marcelo Rozo: Perseverance Rewarded
If Tosti’s story is one of continuity, Marcelo Rozo’s journey is a true tribute to patience. The Colombian golfer earned his first PGA TOUR card in his 14th year as a professional, having turned pro in 2012. Starting in 2026, Rozo will officially be a PGA TOUR rookie, a milestone achieved after a long, demanding road filled with challenges.
He reached the Final Stage of Q-School thanks to a 45th-place finish on the Korn Ferry Tour points list, the result of a solid season that kept him close to his ultimate goal. When it mattered most, Rozo delivered a composed, mistake-free week, showcasing the calm that only experience can provide.
His path was anything but linear. In 2024, he finished 128th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list, forcing him to fight once again for his status. He succeeded with a T43 finish at the 2024 Final Stage of Q-School, retaining his category for 2025. It wasn’t the first time he came close—he had previously recorded top-75 finishes on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019 (47th) and 2022 (62nd).
One of the highlights of his career came in 2019, when he finished runner-up at the Evans Scholars Invitational, losing in a playoff to a then-rising star, now world No. 1—Scottie Scheffler. That week confirmed that the talent had always been there.
Rozo also boasts an impressive record on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, where he claimed three victories, including the 2013 VISA Open de Argentina, one of the most significant wins of his professional career.

The rise of Rozo and Tosti goes far beyond personal success. For the 2026 season, the PGA TOUR will feature seven Latin American players: Alejandro Tosti, Marcelo Rozo, Emilio González (Mexico), Jhonattan Vegas (Venezuela), Nicolás Echavarría (Colombia), Emiliano Grillo (Argentina), and Rafael Campos (Puerto Rico).
