Imagine teeing off with the magnificent snow-capped peaks of the Andes in the background, or a smoking volcano providing an exotic element to the game. Los Cerros is in Los Chillos Valley, a 30-minute drive from Quito, and it is situated at an altitude of about 8700 feet. The club has a 7163-yard 18-hole golf course. The layout offers privileged landscapes, highlighting Quito to the northeast; Cotopaxi volcano (active) to the south, and the Antisana (ecological reserve) to the East.
The golf course is a par 72 and was designed by Rafael y Jaime Villegas, renowned Colombian architects with extensive experience in international golf course design. The course is surrounded by lakes and an interesting topography that challenges and delights players.
