The 119th Visa Open de Argentina presented by Macro will be played from February 26 to March 1 at the Jockey Club de San Isidro, one of the most iconic venues in Argentine golf, which will host the country’s premier championship for the 20th time. The winner of the tournament will earn a place in The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
The seventh-oldest golf championship in the world will carry special significance this year. Organized by the Asociación Argentina de Golf (AAG), the tournament will take place as part of the centennial celebration of the governing body of golf in Argentina—marking a historic milestone for the sport in the country.
The event enters its third year as part of the Korn Ferry Tour schedule, the pathway tour that awards direct access to the PGA TOUR, further solidifying its prestigious position in the global golf landscape. Beginning with this edition, the championship also officially joins The Open Qualifying Series (OQS), placing it among an elite group of international tournaments that award direct berths into the Major organized by The R&A. This addition further strengthens its international status and firmly establishes it as one of the most important events in the region.
The Visa Open de Argentina presented by Macro will bring together international stars along with Argentina’s and Latin America’s top professionals on a course long favored by fans and praised by players for its tradition and competitive challenge.
Beyond the sporting competition, the championship will offer a comprehensive experience for spectators and sponsors, including gourmet food areas, sponsor activations, the traditional VISA Pro-Am, and live artistic performances.

The official press conference for the 119th Visa Open de Argentina presented by Macro will take place on Tuesday, February 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Nordelta. Media accreditation forms will be distributed in the coming days.
Tickets and Benefits
Tickets and parking passes for the championship are now available through the TuEntrada system. Purchases made with a VISA Signature card receive a 50% discount, while all other VISA cards receive a 20% discount.
Additionally, registered members of the Asociación Argentina de Golf will receive complimentary admission for all four days of competition by downloading the AAG’s official app and obtaining the corresponding QR code for entry.
